Anatta

Composed in the fall of 2008 using CSound and binaural soundscapes.
This mp3 version is a virtual binaural rendition of the 8 channel spatialization to be listened using headphones.

This piece was motivated by the spiritual and social work of Sister Celeste Reinhart. I recorded an interview of her and used her voice mixed with soundscape recordings of natural and urban spaces to create a homage to her work and inspiring personality. At the end a literal quotation of her interview can be heard.
